Mikhail ‘Dosia’ Stolyarov is a talented esports player who hails from Ufa, Russia. He takes on the rifler role, practicing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to represent Gambit Esports. He holds the record of 3 knife kills in a series and map, twice so far and won the MVP medal at Dreamhack Austin.
Aside from gaming, Stolyarov is always on the lookout for TV shows and adventure films to watch as long as the plot is interesting. To kill time in between matches, Mikhail likes to play the card game, Uno with his teammates or perhaps go sightseeing, walking around the streets.
Where it all began:
Back in his school days, Dosia practiced an interesting sport, fencing and was the Bashkortostan Champion among his friends, so he knew exactly what it entails to be the best player and be on top of the competition.
Mikhail began actively playing in Counter-Strike 1.6 since 2005 and started his professional gaming career in 2007 with AgAt and then moved on to play for squads like Proplay.ru, CMAX.gg, Meet Your Makers and Moscow Five. In 2012, Dosia switched to play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with the team RuSh3D and has made a name for himself in the CSGO scene.
The Team:
Gambit Esports is a Russian esports company that was established in 2013 with its headquarters based in the United Kingdom. The association supports units that practice Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, FIFA and Dota 2.
Gambit Esports created their CSGO roster by signing up the HS.GG squad in January 2016. Having won a few esports tournaments, the CS team have become one of the favorites to win matches. At present, the lineup consists of pro gamers Hobbit as team captain, Dosia, AdreN, Mou and their latest acquisition of Seized.
Competition Participation:
The most recent qualifier matches that Gambit Dosia has taken part in were the IEM Katowice, ESEA Season 26 and WESG 2017. Some of the latest premier and major tournaments that Dosia has competed in including Eleague Major Boston, ROG Masters 2017, Dreamhack Winter 2017, WESG 2017, IEM Oakland, World Cyber Arena 2017 and the EPICENTER 2017 among many other CSGO tournaments.
Dosia has had the pleasure of competing against top CS teams so as to improve on CS strategies and gameplay. These top Counter-Strike units are Fnatic, Cloud9, Heroic, Quantum Bellator Fire, North, AGO Gaming, NV, SK and Counter Logic Gaming among many.
Winnings:
The greatest achievement so far in Dosia’s gaming career was at the PGL Major Krakow 2017 while representing Gambit Esports. The squad dominated the esports event beating top CSGO teams like Mousesports, G2, Virtus.Pro and Astralis. While in the finals, the top unit faced Immortals winning the match with an incredible score of 2-1, taking the championship title and claiming a cash reward of $500K, acquiring a spot in ELeague Major Boston.
The second accomplishment was when Gambit Dosia competed at the ROG Masters 2017. The top CSGO team dominated the CSGO tournament going through the group stages and proceeding to the Semifinals to defeat Vega Squadron. The final match saw Gambit beat TyLoo with an unbeatable record of 3-0, proudly claiming their prize of $117K.
