The German team, Mousesports was founded in 2002, becoming one of the most successful esport teams over the years. Mouz are widely known for their CS:GO squad that have participated in a number of tournaments showing off their strong CS strategies.
Through the accomplishments Mousesports achieved, the company support active teams that focus on Dota 2, Street Fighter, Vainglory and CS:GO. They also had specialized units for Warcraft III, Quake 4 but disbanded.
Since the creation of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive squad in 2012, they have participated in a number of prestigious esports tournaments. So far the CS unit have earned prize pools that vary from $12,000 to $120,000 earning them a total amount of an incredible $ 1 million.
Mousesports achievements so far have they have participated in several major and premier matches like Eleague Season 2, IEM IV European Championship Finals, IEM Oakland and qualifiers of DreamHack Masters Malmo and PGL Krakow 2017 among others. Their latest close win at an esports tournament was in May 2017 at ESL Pro League Season 5 - Europe, where they placed third.
Mousesports took part in DreamHack Masters Malmo 2017, that was held on the 30th August until 3rd September, competing for a prize pool of a whopping $250K.
