Gambit Gaming is a European association that was created in January 2013. They previously had a League of Legends roster that participated in European LOL Championship Series but presently the company only has a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive lineup.

The Gambit Gaming CS:GO roster was formed in January 2016, mostly consisting of former Hellraisers players. The squad soon showed the esports world what they were capable of in their very first major competition, CIS Minor Championship – Colombus 2016 beating Rebels for the first place to win $30K. Then Gambit qualified for the MLG Major Championship Colombus and for DreamHack Masters Malmo 2016.

Through the experiences at these big competitions Gambit Gaming learnt more CS strategies from the opposing teams. The CS:GO roster in the past has competed against Flipsid3 Tactics that won them the Adrenaline Cyber League and also at the DreamHack Winter 2016 placing first in both tournaments winning a prize of $50K in each match.
