A leading esport organization with its headquarters in London, UK, Fnatic have several dedicated teams that focus on popular games like CS:GO, Dota 2, Heroes of the Storm, League of Legends and Overwatch. Sam Matthews and his mother, Anne Mathews founded the company, understanding the potential future of esports.

Competing in big tournaments, the Counterstrike unit have proven themselves time and time again that they are one of the world’s best teams. On top of this, Fnatic opened an academy for talented young gamers for the opportunity to make their passion a professional career.

As years passed, the Fnatic CS:GO squad has achieved tremendous success winning world championships. In fact, they won the ‘Team of the year’ award in 2006 and 2009. Among many premier events they participated, the latest matches include ESL Pro League Season 4, ELEAGUE Season 1, Intel Extreme Masters X, ESL ESEA Pro League Finals where they achieved first prize.

The new Fnatic Overwatch roster was created on the 21st July 2016. The current squad consists of six dedicated cyber athletes, Buds, Coolmatt69, Stoop, Custa and Vonethil.  

The Fnatic squad have taken part in various prestigious tournaments such as the latest DreamHack Winter 2016, Overwatch open, King of watch Europe and many others. Ranking in the top four of nearly every match Fnatic OW have had amazing success and won numerous championships.

Ever since Fnatic created their dota roster, the pro players have strived to prove their potential in the esports scene. Participating in the prestigious tournaments like ZOTAC Cup Masters, the qualifiers of EPICENTER, The Manila Masters, Dota Summit 7 and ESL One Genting 2017.   


The greatest win for Fnatic Dota 2 roster was at The International 2016, although the team lost to Digital Chaos, they placed fourth in the event. Proud of their achievements the players scooped their highest prize of a whopping $1.4 million.

Djardel 'DJ' Mampusti is a Phillipine esports gamer currently playing for Fnatic. He started gaming in high school where his friends taught him how to play the first version of the defense of the Ancients and like all other players did the transition to Dota 2. He possesses the flexibility to handle to two roles that of Support and Offlaner which gives him an understanding of what kind of help his team mates would need in game. Djardel’s favourite music is Sandstorm by Darude, he also likes to read comics most especially Attack on Titan.  

Fnatic Ohaiyo

Chong Xin 'Ohaiyo' Khoo is a pro esports player from Malaysia competing for Fnatic Dota 2 roster. The responsibility he holds for his team is the offlane role, playing his best Dota 2 heroes Nature’s Prophet, Batrider, Dark seer. In his spare time, Khoo loves to play the mobile game, Time Killer or watch his favorite anime Naruto or else likes to listen to the song Alan Walker - Faded.

Jacky ‘EternaLEnVy’ Mao is a dedicated gamer who is the team captain for Fnatic Dota and who can take on the Carry or Solo Middle roles. Jacky put his university education on hold to pursue his esports career, playing Dota 2 professionally and has never stopped gaming ever since.

John ‘PieLieDie’ Åström is a Swedish pro gamer competing for team Secret. His passion in gaming started when he played Warcraft 3 in 2005. His first contact with Dota 2 was in 2012 with his online friends that formed a team called Gvision. From then on, PieLieDie has shown the world his skills as support with dota heroes, Bounty Hunter, Bane and Lion. 

Fnatic Excalibur

Steve 'Xcalibur' Ye is a professional cyber athlete training and competing for Fnatic Dota 2 roster. He became a famous pub player in the European esports scene gathering around 6900 MMR. He began his pro career in June 2014, as temporary player for Fnatic in D2CL Season 3 and The Summit 1. Xcalibur plays the solo mid with his favourite heroes, Shadow Fiend, Templar Assassin and Tiny to lead his team to victory.
