Freddy ‘Krimz’ Johansson

Freddy ‘Krimz’ Johansson is a pro player that hails from Upplands Väsby in Sweden. He practices and trains in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, taking on the role of support rifler for Fnatic. Krimz is worldly known for his consistency and clutch with the ability to hold a bomb site.

 

Krimz loves to eat pizza, while catching up to his favourite tv series, Modern Family. He is quite a good table tennis player in fact he beat his teammates at the game. Johansson makes quite a career in bartending, mixing good cocktails drinks.

Where it all began:

Freddy liked video games ever since he was young, spending a lot of late nights practicing Counter-Strike 1.6 playing against his friends casually. His gaming career began in 2013 with the esports team at the time, hatesg0nnahate. Then he moved to compete for VYE Gaming, Team Refuse, LGB Esports and Godsent.

Krimz is now with Fnatic, showing the world his capabilities fighting off the terrorists. All he wants to do is just play Counter-Strike, improving on his individual skills. Right before the esports match, Freddy uses duct tape, so his wrists stay on the table.

The Team:

Fnatic is an esports team that was founded in 2004 by Sam and Anne Mathews. The gaming association have a reputation of being one of the best teams in the world winning numerous Championship titles. FNC helps support professional squads that compete in League of Legends, Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, FIFA and Vainglory.

Fnatic CS: GO was created in 2004 and has built a reputation taking numerous championship titles. Krimz joined the CS roster in November 2015, forming part of the lineup that includes JW, Flusha, Golden and Lekr0 who have become famous for their dangerous moves and tactics.

Competition Participation:

Krimz and his current unit, Fnatic have recently participated in CS tournaments like ESL Pro League Season 6, Eleague CS: GO Premier 2017, Dreamhack Masters Malmo, PGL Major Krakow among many. They have also taken part in the qualifiers of WESG 2017 Sweden, IEM Oakland and the EPICENTER  2017.

Competing for Fnatic, the squad have had the gaming experience of going against top esports teams like Godsent, Astralis, NV, Heroic, Immortals, Gambit, SK Gaming and Liquid. In 2017, Fnatic have won over G2 Esports, Hellraisers and North in esports tournaments.

Winnings:

The greatest win for Krimz and his team at the time, Fnatic was at Eleague Season 1. On the way to the finals, FNC beat Team Solomid, Dignitas, Faze, NV, Cloud 9 and Natus Vincere. The Counter- Strike squad battled against Virtus.Pro in the finals but finished in second place, claiming a reward of $140K.

The second accomplishment for Krimz was while playing for Fnatic at the IEM X World Championship. On the way to the Grand Finals, FNC defeated top team Virtus.Pro. The CS unit beat Luminosity, taking the title to proudly claim a prize of $104K.

Johansson’s third achievement was winning the ESL ESEA Pro League Season 2 Finals. Krimz and Fnatic won against Natus Vincere with the unbeatable score 3-2, taking home a prize of $100K. He was also voted the 9th best player in 2014 and 7th best player in 2015 by HLTV.org.
