The organizers, ESL will be hosting the first ever Dota 2 tournament in Poland, the ESL One Katowice 2018 which will be held between 20th till 25 February 2018. The esports event will be held at the Spodek Arena, featuring the best 16 teams that come from all over the world to battle for their share from a prize pool of $1 million.
Apart from a prize, there are also 1,500 qualifying points that will be distributed among the top Dota 2 teams. These points will help boost competition among squads so as to help pave the way to securing their spot in the upcoming esports tournament, The International 2018.
