Tomas ‘oskar’ Stastny

Tomas ‘oskar’ Stastny is a Czech cyber athlete who practices in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. He takes on the position of the awper for his current unit, Mousesports. He is famous for his outstanding performances in FACEIT Pro League, while playing for Hellraisers, gaining a reputation as one of the best snipers in the esports scene.

Where it all began:

Tomas started playing Counter-Strike Source in January 2004 as he always knew he had a talent for gaming. He saved up money to buy his gaming computer and started streaming his game plays in the hopes of exposing his gaming talents across the world. He had a dream that one day he would be part of a world known esports unit, so that he could play in major events.

Before he joined Mousesports, Stastny had received offers from American gaming teams like Liquid, Optic, TSM and Splyce but refused since he wanted to stay in Europe. For the past fourteen years, Tomas has played Counter-Strike, he feels that his time to do great things has come with his move to Mousesports.

The Team:

Mousesports is a professional esports team that was established in 2002, in Berlin, Germany. Starting out with a CS Source team, they began competing in minor tournaments, eventually acquiring the gaming experience to compete in larger premier matches. Mouz supports teams that compete in CS: GO, Dota 2, Street Fighter V, Vainglory and Unreal Tournament 4.

Mousesports CS: GO was created in 2012 and has since taken part in many tournaments raking up a total of $949K. The current Mouz roster includes ChrisJ as captain of the team, Styko, oskar, suNny and ropz who will have to step up their CS: GO strategies to take their success to new heights.

Competition Participation:

Mousesports have participated in the offline qualifiers of the PGL Krakow event. They managed to beat Penta Sports with the score 16:14. Their win led them to acquire a spot in the main tournament, Mouz battled against top esports team, Cloud 9 but lost the tournament with the record 11:16 to rank in tenth place.

Oskar and his CS squad have beaten Flipsid3 Tactics in the most recent European qualifying matches for the upcoming DreamHack Masters Malmo 2017. Mousesports won over F3, eliminating them with a record of 2:0, a result that confirmed their invitation as the EU qualifier for DH Masters.

Winnings:

The greatest win for esports player, oskar was when he participated at the ESL Pro League Season 5. Mousesports reached the finals playing against SK Gaming, they lost with the record 0:2, to finish in fifth place taking home a prize of $45K.

The second accomplishment for Tomas was when he played for Mousesports at the Gfinity CS: GO Invitational. Although, Oskar and his CS: GO team lost to EnVyUs with the record 0:3, they ranked in second place, taking home a prize of a surprising $30K.
