Pavel ‘9pasha’ Khvastunov

Pavel ‘9pasha’ Khvastunov is one of the most consistent pro players that train in Dota 2 to compete for the esports team, Virtus.Pro. He takes on the role of an offlaner as well as a carry, playing his best gameplays with Dota heroes, Ember Spirit, Gyrocopter, Dark Seer and Slardar.

Khvastunov loves to perform well in dota matches playing on the radiant side with his favourite hero Riki, while hearing the narration of the dota game from his preferred commentator, MerVing. He likes to chill out with his team mate, Lil watching films like Knocking on Heaven’s Door, Green Lantern or perhaps the tv series, The Flash. Gaming aside, he would prefer to relax at home and prepare himself a meal of potatoes and mushrooms while watching a game of tennis on TV.

Where it all began:

Pavel developed an interest in video games like Defense of the Ancients and Warcraft 3 with no particular goal but to play with his friends for the fun of gaming and relaxation. After a year and a half at University, Khvastunov lost interest in studying and spent a year with the army.

Through it all, his gaming passion remained and started practicing Dota 2, a video game that everyone was playing at the time. His pro gaming career all started in 2013 with a Dota team, UrsaStroitHram and made his debut at the StarLadder Pro Series Season 10 qualifiers.
