Johannes ‘tabseN’ Wodarz is a 22-year-old cyber athlete of Polish descent. He spent most of his life living in Germany, having a strong background in Counter-Strike 1.6 has made him a top CSGO player with consistent firepower and the intelligent game plays that led his unit to win matches. Johannes on the position of rifler playing his best performances for his esports team, BIG.
Aside from gaming all day, the tabseN and his teammates get along well with each other, travelling together on vacation, spending time at the beach, working out or sightseeing. TabseN is a fan of his friend and pro player Fatih ‘gob b’ Dayik, looking up to him so as to improve his skills in CSGO.
Where it all began:
Johannes started playing CS game back in 2007 aspiring that one day he will become a top Counter-Strike player. He got his alias through CS 1.6, where he knew of a pro player called Tabb1. He liked the nickname and changed it around to make it his own to tabseN with a capital ‘N’ because in the past it was considered cool and many people would think he was a hacker.
Wodarz eventually made the switch to CS: GO in September 2012. He learnt different strategies to play his best rifler position with esports teams like Playing Ducks, Penta Sports, Mousesports and NRG.
The Team:
Berlin International Gaming or BIG for short is a German esports company that was founded by pro players, gob b, Legija, tabseN with the help of Tom Jang Lemke in January 2017. Over a year has passed since the foundation and BIG support two pro units that play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
Berlin International Gaming created their CSGO esports team in 2017. The Counter-Strike roster currently consists of three cyber athletes, gob b, tabseN and nex, as for the other two gamers have yet to be announced.
Competition Participation:
TabseN and his team Berlin International Gaming have lately participated in the qualifying matches of the Farmskins Championship for the IEM Katowice. Some of the most recent esports matches BIG have taken part in include Eleague Major Boston, Dreamhack Winter 2017, WESG 2017, World Cyber Arena, ESL Pro League Season 6 among many competitions.
BIG tabseN had the pleasure of competing against top esports teams so as to improve on their strategies as well as performance. The CSGO squad faced the likes of AGO Esports, Mousesports, Space Soldiers, Navi, Cloud 9, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Team Liquid among many units.
Winnings:
TabseN’s highest earnings were at the PGL Major Krakow 2017 competing for BIG. On their way to the Playoffs, the top German esports team beat Faze Clan, Cloud9 and SK Gaming. Reaching the quarterfinals, Berlin International Gaming lost to Immortals to finish in seventh place, claiming a prize of $35K to earn a spot in the Eleague Major Boston 2018.
The second greatest esports tournament was at Europe Minor Championship Krakow 2017 while TabseN was competing for BIG. Going through the group stages, the CSGO team beat Kinguin, Ballistix. The unit advanced to the Semifinals losing to Team Dignitas, moving down to the lower brackets, they fought the good fight defeating NV and Dignitas. The Grand finals saw Berlin International Gaming defeat Penta sports with an unbeatable score of 2-0. The German CSGO team proudly took home their reward of $30K and acquired their place in the PGL Major Krakow 2017.
