Ninjas in Pyjamas
In 2000, Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) an eSports European team was founded by Christoffer Olsson and Tommy Ingemarsson, two former players. The group first competed in Counter-Strike 1.6 and eventually disbanded in 2007.
NIP are known for their humour whilst playing the game so look out for the hilarious crabwalking and their ‘military style’ of communication.
Ninjas in Pyjamas have a long gaming history that goes back to 2000. The company started out with a team in CS 1.6 with iconic players like Abdisamad 'SpawN' Mohamed, Robert 'RobbaN' Dahlstrom and Emil 'HeatoN' Christensen. These legendary gamers have been instrumental in the past and have shaped the future, becoming the professional team we know today, Ninjas in Pyjamas.
After the release of CS:GO, NiP reformed in 2012, creating a new Counter-Strike roster of fresh players. The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive lineup consists of Xizt as captain, draken, f0rest, GeT_RiGhT and REZ taking their gaming skills to new heights showing their true potential against top teams.
