Xu ‘Hym’ Zhi is a Chinese pro player that practices Dota 2, currently representing EHOME in tournaments. He trains in the role of support, assisting his team with his signature heroes, Earth Spirit, Bounty Hunter and Lion.

Where it all began:
Xu kicked off his professional gaming career in dota 2 with Victory O Lord, a unit that had no experience competing in esports tournaments. The very first match that Hym participated was the minor ESCC 2015.
Hym acquired the dota skills and strategies playing for other esports teams like HyperGlory, EHOME.Luminous, Vici Gaming and Team VGJ. With over three years of gaming experience, he has shown the esports scene his potential as a pro player and will not quit gaming just yet.
EHOME is a Chinese esports company that was established back in 2004 becoming one of the oldest teams in the gaming scene. The association supports professional teams that compete in Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
EHOME created their Dota 2 team back in 2007 and have had quite a reputation as one of the favourites in esports tournaments. Over the years there were a few roster changes and have formed a new lineup that consists of the pro players, CTY, old chicken, Faith_bian, Hym and y’.
Hym has been competing for EHOME since September 2017 and in that time he has participated in the qualifying matches of the ESL One Katowice 2018, The Bucharest Major. ESL One Genting 2018, Galaxy Battles II and so many more. The highest earnings achieved by Hym and his unit at the time, Team VGJ competed at the Dota 2 Professional League Season 2. The squad dominated the group stages, beating EHOME.Keen, Braveheart, Avalon, EHOME.Luminous, FTD Club A, WeAreYoung, Tongfu and Newbee.Young. They finished in first place, claiming a prize of a remarkable $34K prize.
Another great win for Xu was while playing for EHOME at the WESG 2017 China Finals. At the minor event, the dota squad defeated the squad, For the Magic in the quarterfinals and Keen Gaming in the Semifinals. Proceeding to the Finals, EHOME beat Rock.Y 2-1 to claim their reward of a surprising $15K.
