Liquid EliGE prefers to play Counter-Strike with the map Cache, giving the team the opportunity to win esports matches.
Jablonowski’s alias was derived from the Spanish translation of the word ‘select’, after the favourite StarCraft 2 player SeleCT. His goals with Team Liquid is to hopefully progress through the qualifiers to win a Major esport tournament and to be the North America’s best team.
Where it all began:
Jonathan started out his gaming career with Counter Strike 1.6 and then moved on to play StarCraft 2 competing seriously for the next three years. A day before the WCS America Season 2 qualifier they completely changed the matchup that he was prepared for which led to his losing the match. Due to this EliGE quit SC2 and began training in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
At the time EliGE took up CS: GO, he was studying at High School and practicing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. A challenge in itself to keep up his commitments, EliGE was named Carbondale’s Scholar of the Year 2015.
