Denis ‘Electronic’ Sharipov is a Russian pro player training in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. He has recently left Flipsid3 Tactics for esports team, Natus Vincere after seeing electronic’s gaming potential.
Denis likes electricity, the energy boost that gaming gives him is his motivation to be a better player so when it came to choosing his alias, electronic was the obvious choice. Aside from gaming, he likes to follow pro players like Niko and coldzera for their gameplays and CS strategies. Thanks to his brother’s support and belief that one day Denis will play for Navi, he would not have become the professional player Electronic is today.
Where it all began:
When Denis was around 5 years old, after school his brother would take him to LAN cafes, watching his sibling play CS with his friends. Sharipov’s interest in gaming grew thanks to his brother who introduced him to Warcraft and Counter-Strike Source and from that moment on he never stopped playing video games.
Sharipov’s gaming career all started when he went to a LAN Café in Kazan, where he met other gamers and decided to play for Impulse in some esports tournaments. They played well defeating well-known local players that boosted their morale but since electronic was still very young he could not continue playing with them.
As he grew older so did Denis’ mentality that led him to think differently in-game, improving his gaming levels and tactics. Dmitry ‘hooch’ Bogdanov noticed Electronic’s gaming skills and invited him to join Evolution in 2015 to compete in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Natus Vincere is a Ukrainian esports organisation that was created in 2009 by Alexander ‘ZeroGravity’ Kokhanovskyy. The club supports several professional teams that compete in CS: GO, Dota 2, FIFA, World of Tanks and League of Legends.

The most recent gaming events that Electronic and his national team have attended include the qualifying matches, WESG 2017 – Russia LAN tournaments. Along with Flipsid3 Tactics, Sharipov took part in qualifiers of the StarLadder i-League Invitational #2, EPICENTER 2017, Eleague CS: GO Premier 2017, DreamHack Montreal, ESL One New York among many others.
Electronic and his team, Flipsid3 participated in major esports tournaments such as World Cyber Arena 2017 – European main stage, ESEA Season 25: Global Challenge, PGL Major Krakow 2017, Hellcase Cup #2 and the Eleague Major Atlanta.
