Danylo ‘Zeus’ Teslenko

Danylo ‘Zeus’ Teslenko is a pro gamer that hails from Kharkiv, Ukraine. He dedicates his time to train and practice Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, taking on the responsibilities of captain and in game leader to Natus Vincere.

Danylo is a person who loves Counter-Strike, he puts his heart and soul into the game, it is one of the things he cannot live without. Gaming aside, Danylo is known for his sense of humour and Zeus style of dancing. Teslenko’s favourite movie is The Skeleton Key with whom he watched with his cat, Hacker.

Where it all began:

Danylo started playing computer games when he was about 12 or 13 years old, attracted to Counter-Strike 1.6. The beginning of a long journey all started in 2002 when he played for esports team, Arsenal. He made his debut in 2005, when he flew to Singapore to participate in the Wordl Cyber Games with pro100.

When CS: GO was released, the natural thing for Teslenko was to make the switch which led him to train and compete for Natus Vincere in 2012.

The Team:

Natus Vincere is a professional gaming company established in 2009 that is based in Ukraine. The club supports professional esports teams in CS: GO, Dota 2, FIFA, League of Legends and World of Tanks. The esports club has become famous for its Counter-Strike team for winning three events in one year, these include IEM, Electronic Sports World Cup and World Cyber Games 2010.

All NaVi players are dedicated towards one goal to win prestigious matches like the IEM World Championship. The current CS:GO roster consists of Edward, flamie, seized, s1mple and Zeus. Since the foundation of the NaVi company, many gamers and esports fans worldwide look up to Natus Vincere as gaming role model.

Competition Participation and Winnings:

Zeus has recently participated in the qualifiers of the ESEA Season 25: Premier Division – Europe, DreamHack Summer 2017, cs_summit, Eleague Major 2017 among many other CS: GO competitions. While competing for Gambit Esports, Zeus competed against top teams like Fnatic, SK Gaming, Counter Logic Gaming, BIG, North, Renegades and Space Soldiers among many.

The most recent win was with Gambit Esports participating in the PGL Major Krakow 2017, taking the first prize of a stunning $500K defeating Immortals with the record 2:1. Their second highest accomplishment was the MLG Major Championship: Colombus, while Zeus was with Gambit Gaming. The CS: GO team lost to Luminosity Gaming to finish in second place to take home, a remarkable prize of $150K.
