Cvetelin ‘CeRq’ Dimitrov

Cvetelin ‘Cerq’ Dimitrov is a Bulgarian esports player with promising talent practicing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. He takes on the awper role for his team, NRG, known to be a talented player to watch out for in gaming tournaments.

Where it all began:

Cvetelin’s cousin introduced him to play CS 1.6 and eventually made the switch to CS: GO and never stopped gaming since. His pro gaming career began when Teodor ‘Spellan’ Nikolov invited him to join Winfiction in May 2016, attending his first LAN tournament in Sofia. From then on he never stopped gaming developing his fighting skills with the Outlaws and now currently with NRG Esports.

The Team:

NRG is an esports company located in California that was established in November 2015, founded by Gerard Kelly and Sacramento Kings co-owners, Andy Miller and Mark Mastrov. Their mission was to build the best squads to build a legacy for the years to come. The gaming association supports units that specialize in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Smite, Hearthstone, For Honor, Rocket League, VainGlory and Overwatch.

NRG acquired the former Method players to form a CS: GO squad in January 2016, in time to compete for Americas Last Chance Qualifier in Columbus 2016. The current pro gamers that from the CS lineup consist of FugLy, Brehze, AnJ, CeRq and Daps as team captain to continue their gaming legacy.

Competition Participation:

While CeRq is presently competing for NRG, they have participated in the Americas Minor Championship – Boston 2018, DreamHack Denver 2017, IEM Oakland North American qualifier, EPICENTER 2017, ESEA Rank S, Eleague CS: GO Premier 2017 and ESL One: New York 2017.

So as to improve on their gaming skills, NRG have competed against Complexity, LDLC.com, Luminosity, Optic, Tempo Storm, Renegades, Rise Nation among many esports teams.

Winnings:

The greatest achievement yet in CeRq’s career while competing for Outlaws was the minor tournament CEVO Season 12 – Europe. The CS squad defeated Singularity with a record 2-0, taking the championship title to claim their highest prize earnings of $6K.

Dimitrov’s second great win while with Outlaws is the Assembly Winter 2017. The unit lost to DizLown in the final however despite the loss they finished in second place to receive a reward of $4K.
