Jesper ‘Zven’ Svenningsen is a professional esports player from Viborg, Denmark. He is very dedicated to practice League of Legends taking on the AD carry position for his team, G2 Esports. His gaming experience has been proven in prestigious tournaments performing his best with LOL heroes Kalista, Lucian, Sivir, Ezreal and Tristan.
Gaming aside, Jesper likes to play football and practice gymnastics and after a whole day of training sessions, he enjoys his friends company for a drink. While in school he is studied computer programming which would come in useful in the future.
Where it all began:
When Jesper was 12, he pursued his interest playing video games with World of Warcraft III. His teacher in Primary School introduced him to League of Legends and since then has never stopped gaming.
Zven’s professional LOL career began with Tricked Esports in February 2013. Svenningsen has joined several other teams like CJ Entus, Intellectual Playground, SK Gaming Prime and Origen acquiring the skills and LOL strategies so as to improve his game plays.
The Team:
G2 Esports is a European gaming company founded in February 2014, originally named Gamers 2. The association has professional teams that focus on practicing League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Hearthstone, Vainglory and Rocket League. G2 are on a mission to take their esports gaming to the next level to be a top team.
G2 LOL squad have made quite a reputation in the LOL scene with their aggressive playstyle. Known as the Kings of Europe after they secured their spot in the EU LOL Championship Summer Series of 2017. The challenging teams that are tough to beat in the upcoming LCS Summer are Fnatic and H2K. With a mixture of experienced players, the LOL roster includes Expect, Trick, Perkz, Zven and Mithy.
Competition Participation:
Zven and Origen have participated in the esports tournaments like IEM X World Championship, where the unit played against TSM ranking in seventh place. The 2016 EU LCS Spring was another event that he had taken part in ranking in second to lose against G2 Esports.
While Zven is currently with G2, they won the 2016 European LOL Championship Summer Series, where the unit beat Splyce with the unbeatable record 3:1, taking first prize. They have proved their worth at esports tournaments like IEM Season XI competing against Flash Wolves and at the Mid-Season Invitational, G2 finished second after being defeated by SK Telecom T1 1:3.
Winnings:
Jesper’s great personal achievement with the team, Origen is the Outstanding Rookie award at the 2015 EU LOL Summer Championship. Svenningsen has also won the All-Pro Team (AD) award in the 2016 LOL Summer Series and 2017 EU LCS Spring seasons on behalf of G2 Esports.
Zven and his team G2 have played at 2017 EU LCS Spring competition taking the championship title. The LOL unit beat Unicorns of Love with a record 3:1, scooping up the cash prize of a remarkable $100K.
