Chae ‘Piglet’ Gwang-jin is a professional LOL player from South Korea, practicing AD Carry position for Team Liquid. He is famous for his conservative playstyle and excellent positioning that has provided his teammates the help they needed to win matches. At the moment living in North America with his squad, he likes the fact that a lot of people watch his stream, playing his signature LOL characters Twitch, Caitlyn and Vayne.
Being brought up in South Korea, Chae’s mother was his motivator, whenever he felt like giving up, she would encourage him to keep trying and not give up on his dreams. The coolest esports fans he had were in Korea, they made big posters with his name on it and held it up to cheer him on. He has a fascination with the Disney character, Piglet and in fact he wears a hoodie or Winnie the pooh socks for good luck at esports events.
Where it all began:
Gwang-jin first video game he played was Starcraft, aiming to be a professional player but he reached amateur level. Very often he would clash with his family about his gaming habits and which led him to lie to his parents that he quit gaming. However, nothing could stop him from playing video games so he snuck out of the house to practice at the local Internet café.
His happiest moment came when he was signed with SK Telecom T1 in 2013 even though he had not played professionally in League of Legends. He has developed his skills to become the player he is thanks to SKT playing aside the star player Faker.
