Bruno ‘bit’ Lima

Bruno ‘bit’ Lima is a 27-year-old professional cyber athlete training in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competing for 100 Thieves. He takes on the role of the in-game leader, calling all the shots while also supporting his teammates as a rifler.

Lima likes to play other video games like Assault Fire and League of Legends in his spare time. Bruno spends his time relaxing with his teammates dining, playing billiard and chills out playing his guitar. On his forearm, Bruno made a rosary tattoo in honour of his brother.

Where it all began:

Bruno started playing computer games in 2001 with Counter-Strike 1.6 where he competed in amateur tournaments that eventually led him to professional gaming participating in CS events held around the world. In the span of two years, bit won major championship titles like DreamHack and GameGune.

After CS 1.6, Bruno took up League of Legends in 2013 playing the Jungler position, particularly known for playing LOL hero Elise. He competed for KaBuM Esports, winning the WCG Brasil 2013 in China. In 2014, he decided to retire becoming the general manager of the gaming company, KaBuM for the next year and a half.

There was something about competitive gaming that Bruno missed – the competitive adrenaline, Counter-Strike and his fans. Having a strong background in CS 1.6, Lima made the smooth transition into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in August 2015, playing for g3nerationX participating in CSGO events.

The Team:

100 Thieves is an American esports organisation that was created by a former Call of Duty player, Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag and NBA team Cleveland Cavaliers. The gaming association supports a team in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and another competing in League of Legends.

100 Thieves have acquired the former Immortals players, HEN1, LUCAS1 and fnx in December 2017, who play alongside kNg and bit as the team’s captain. Due to immigration issues, 100T were not able to attend their very first major, the Eleague Major Boston 2018, showing the gaming scene, their fighting capabilities to be one of the top units.

Competition Participation:

The most recent esports tournaments that bit and his previous unit, Team One have participated include the World Cyber Arena 2017, ESL Brasil Premier League Season 4, ESEA Season 25: Global Challenge, mmbets.net Stars Challenge South America and Geek City CSGO 2017 among many tournaments.

WCA 2018

Bit has developed and improved his gameplay competing against esports teams like Hafnet Esports, Merciless Gaming, Rise Nation, Brasil Gaming House, 2kill Gaming and SK Gaming among many other CS squads.

Winnings:

The greatest wins so far for Bruno and his team Mibr was way back when he was competing in Counter Strike 1.6 in the IEM III American Championship Finals. The CS unit took the premier title winning against X3O Gaming with a record of 1-0 claiming their well-deserved prize of $25K.

One of the most recent accomplishments for bit and his CS team, G3nerationX was at the World Cyber Arena 2016 – America Finals. The CSGO unit beat 3xTeam with the unbeatable score of 2-0 winning the Major league to claim a prize of $14K.
