Astralis have competed in big competitions like the ESL Pro League Season 4, WESG 2016, EPICENTER 2016, ESL One New York and many others in the past few years earning a total of a whopping $2, 266,368. Astralis reached the semi-finals of the IEM Oakland 2016 and took home €29K. At the IEM Katowice in March 2017, they managed to win the tournament after beating Faze Clan in the final, to win a whopping, $104K.
The Astralis CSGO current roster consists of Nicolai ‘dev1ce’ Reedtz, Peter ‘dupreeh’ Rothmann, Andreas ‘Xyp9x’ Højsleth, Lukas ‘gla1ve’ Rossander as the team captain and their latest Astralis acquisition was Magisk.
Andreas ‘Xyp9x’ Højsleth is a dedicated athlete in CS: GO, playing the best support position for Astralis. He must constantly support his squad in any situation to help win the game. His warm-up training sessions include the maps ‘Fast aim/Reflex training Map/aim train driving’. In the spare time, Andreas plays League of Legends, watching tv series and chilling out with his teammates.
Nicolai ‘Dev1ce’ Reedtz is a professional gamer that has become the third best player in 2015. Opposing units fear him for his playstyle in the match and therefore win over opponents. Nicolai enjoys the regular FFA deathmatch in his free time, and if he comes across a new game, he will continue to play until he becomes good at it. The latest is Call of Duty Black Ops 3. Aside from gaming, Dev1ce likes to run and watch a good tv series or a film.
Peter ‘Dupreeh’ Rothmann is a part of the Astralis team, playing the entry fragger in Counter-Strike. As the skilled aimer that Peter is, he prefers to take on a random map running around, jumping and shooting to get his aim back on track. Dupreeh likes to watch war documentaries like the Second World War learning about history and helping him understand war weapons and such. If he weren’t interested in the gaming world, he would be studying to become a pilot as he has an interest in planes.
Emil ‘Magisk’ Reif is a talented Danish CS: GO player for Astralis. He started playing Counter-Strike 1.6 at eight years old watching his cousins and friends play together. Emil is confident playing the Overpass map as he can use his playstyle to do risky game strategies and play defensively. For his performance in 2016 CS: GO tournaments, Magisk was voted the 14th best player of 2016 by HLTV.org.
Lukas ‘gla1ve‘ Rossander is a Danish esports player competing in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for his current team, Astralis. His tactical mindset helps in his role as the team captain while also as a supporting rifler. He began practising Counter-Strike Source with his school friends, with the all-time dream goal of becoming a professional player and now in 2018, he fulfils his desire.
