The Swedish esports company, Alliance established in April 2013. Representing Europe, the association supports teams in HearthStone, Dota 2, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite. In the past, Alliance had squads competing in League of Legends and Starcraft II which have now disbanded.
Known to be one of the most active teams around, Alliance brings consistency. The professional players focus on improving their gaming abilities and pinpointing their mistakes. Their goal before every tournament is to be as versatile as possible playing different strategies so as the opponents cannot predict what their next smart move will be.
Alliance was launched with a mission to promote while also supporting Scandinavian and European eSports across the world. The goal was to help encourage the truly talented players to shine on the international stage at world esports events.
Alliance Hearthstone Team
Alliance announced their expansion into Hearthstone in September 2017 with the acquisition of pro player Jon ‘Orange’ Westberg. His great individual achievements in his pro gaming career were the premier World Electronic Sports Games 2016 winning the second prize of $70K. On top of this, an excellent accomplishment for Orange was at the 2017 Hearthstone Summer Championship where he finished in second place to claim $40K.
Alliance Dota 2 Team
Alliance Dota 2 team was created in April 2013 by Team Razer and Alex Garfield. Since the beginning, The competitive squad have made it their mission and had a reputation to be the best in Europe. The current lineup consists of Michael ‘miCKe’ Vu, Samuel ‘Boxi’ Svahn, Aydin ‘iNSaNiA’ Sarkohi as team captain, Tommy ‘Taiga’ Le. Their latest addition to the active lineup was Maximilian ‘qojqva’ Bröcker who joined in June 2018 to help carry Alliance to victory.
Team Alliance’s all-time great achievement was when they won The International 2013. The Dota squad won a reward of a spectacular $1.4 million, defeating Natus Vincere in the grand finals with the score 3-2. Now in 2018, Alliance aims to improve on their skills to be as versatile as possible and to counter their opponents in the best possible way.
Alliance PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds Team
The Swedish Alliance team launched their PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds squad in September 2017. Their current roster consists of Valur Marvin ‘veazyy’ Pálsson, Michael ‘Ciggzy‘Higgs, Luke ‘TeaBone‘ Crafer, Marcus ‘Realzx‘ Vining to help carry their unit together towards winning tournaments.
Some of the latest PUBG tournaments include GLL Season 2 EU Week 4 Alpha division, May 2018 Curse trials finals, PUBGOnline Season 1 EU Split 2 Showdown Series Week 5 and many more. Alliance most significant achievement yet was at PUBG Global Invitational 2018 – Europe Major tournament, where they finished in sixth place, taking home a grand prize of $6K since their team founded.
Alliance Fortnite Team
The Alliance unit of Fortnite is a North American squad that compete in Fortnite in June 2018. The current Fortnite lineup of professional players consists of Stevie ‘Freezie’ Cummings, Aaron ‘Purrplexx’ Mann, Eric ‘EMPERIC’ Medeiros. Since the squad has just started, the pro team has yet to participate in esports competitions, making a name for themselves.
