Alliance is a Swedish esports company that was established in April 2013. The association supports teams in Dota 2, Super Smash Bros and Hearthstone. In the past Alliance had squads competing in League of Legends and Starcraft II.
Alliance Dota 2 roster is one of the strongest teams around that bring consistency. The five professional players focus on improving their gaming abilities and pinpointing their mistakes. Their goal before every tournament is to be as versatile as possible playing different strategies so as the opponents cannot predict what their next smart move will be.
Team Alliance has achieved their goal, in fact they won The International 2013. The Dota squad won a reward of a spectacular $1.4 million, defeating Natus Vincere in the grand finals with the score 3-2. The most recent competition Alliance participated in was the World Electronic Sports Games 2016, where they won against Infamous, scooping an amazing prize of $200K.
Jonathan ‘Loda’ Berg is a dedicated dota gamer and takes on the responsibility as team captain for the Alliance roster. Having started playing DotA in 2006 with Meet Your Makers, Loda was considered to be one of the best players between 2007 and 2008. The skills and experience Berg acquired in the past have led him to play with Alliance taking on the position of Carry with his favourite dota characters Juggernaut, Lifestealer and Gyrocopter.
Linus ‘Limmp’ Blomdin is a 21-year-old pro player who takes on the role of Solo Middle for his squad, Alliance with signature heroes like Tiny, Lina and Queen of Pain. Before the transition to Dota 2, Linus came from a strong competitive background playing Heroes of Newerth.
Jonas ‘Jonassomfan’ Lindholm is a Swedish cyber athlete playing for Alliance Dota 2 roster. Jonas began his profession playing Heroes of Newerth. Lindholm’s passion for gaming and hours of practice bring out the experienced offlaner skills with dota 2 heroes, Axe, Clockwerk and Batrider.
Simon ‘Handsken’ Haag is a talented Swedish player who is a part of the Alliance Dota 2 roster. He started his gaming career with Lajons in 2014 and has also played with teams like Ninjas in Pyjamas and Complexity Gaming. His skills and abilities in Dota have helped him improve in the role of Support playing signature champions, Disruptor, Io and Chen.
Jerry ‘EGM’ Lundkvist is a Swedish Dota 2 gamer currently playing for Alliance. His role within his team is that of a support for his team mates with his signature heroes Io, Rubick and Shadow Demon. Jerry is also known under the alias EnterGodMode for which he abbreviated to EGM. He started his competing in the first version of DotA with the squad, Druidz in 2011.
