Nubar ‘Maxlore’ Sarafian is a British pro gamer playing for the competitive team, Misfits. He takes on the role of Jungler for his LOL squad, showing off his gaming skills and best performances with Gragas, Rek’Sai and Nidalee.
Outside of Gaming, Sarafian spends his free time playing board games, Pictionary, go karting and bowling with his friends. Maxlore is quite a talented pianist. playing music of his favourite composer, Chopin.
Where it all began:
Nubar started playing League of Legends back in 2014, playing competitively since he got his own PC. He began playing for Perilous Gaming Rift, training in his jungler position. He has had the privilege to play amongst other famous teams like Gamers 2, Inspire Esports, Giants Gaming and most recently with Roccat.
He made a name for himself adapting with the team’s strategies which have proved his worth as a pro jungler against some of the top teams in LOL esports.
The Team:
Misfits, a European gaming company that was created in May 2016 was founded by Ben Spoont. The association grew to expand its esports horizons supporting several teams that compete in League of Legends, Overwatch, Super Smash Bros, CS:GO and Hearthstone.
Misfits signed on the former Renegades squad which disbanded due to being banned from competing in LOL matches. Their very first successful tournament was the European Challenger Summer Series 2016 winning against Euronics Gaming with a record of 3:1.
Competition Participation and Winnings:
The most recent League of Legends match that Sarafian has participated was the 2017 European LCS Spring tournament while with Roccat and other events such as the EU LCS Summer and Regional Qualifiers and many more. His personal goal in his competitive esports career is that someday he will make it to Worlds Championship, to keep on improving and give his best in each and every match.
The greatest win for Maxlore was while playing for Inspire Esports at the 2016 EU Challenger Series Spring Playoffs. The LOL squad went through to the semi-finals match but lost to Team Huma with the score 2:3. They were still proud of what they achieved reaching third place to win a reward of $16K.
Nubar’s second achievement was the PGL Legends of the Rift Season 1 Finals with the LOL unit, To Infinity and Beyond. They won the title, defeating Millenium in the grand final with a record of 2:0, claiming a prize of $16K.
