Barney ‘Alphari’ Morris

Barney ‘Alphari’ Morris is an English cyber athlete who takes on the role of the top laner for Misfits. The statistics show that his best hero performances are on Ekko, Camille and Jayce. His gaming abilities have helped his team through the Challenger matches qualifying for the EU LCS leagues.

Alphari is a rising young talented player who will need to step up his game against some of the veteran top laners. His successful performances in-game has attracted Misfits with whom he joined since the start of the LOL roster in May 2016. He made a name for himself for his consistency beating the enemy teams and on several occasions his own squad in other computer games. Misfits has given Morris a golden opportunity to prove his worth on the bigger stage and Barney hopes he will participate in the World Championships in the future.

Where it all began:

Morris always liked a sense of competition whether it was sports or computer games. He followed his passion playing, Dishonored. Alphari began his professional career in 2015 with Enigma Esports acquiring the skills and gaming knowledge to be a better player. He moved on to play for Team Infused, To Infinity and Beyond and Renegades showing the esports community around the world his potential to be a top player.

The Team:

Misfits is a European esports company that was established in May 2016 founded by Ben Spoont. They are most famous for their teams competing in esports games like Overwatch, League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Misfits acquired the LOL team after Renegades Banditos was disbanded. The latest additions to the roster include Maxlore as the starting jungler and Hilva as their Strategic Coach. The current lineup also consists of Alphari, PowerOfEvil, Hans Sama and Ignar.

Competition Participation and Winnings:

Barney has participated in several LOL tournaments that some of which include the most recent esports matches 2017 EU LCS Spring Playoffs and Round Robin, Lyon e-Sport 9, EUCS Spring and Summer Leagues, ESL UK Premier Summer 2015 and among many other competitions.

2017 EU LCS series

The greatest achievement for Alphari and his team, Misfits was at the 2017 Riot European League Spring Championship Series. Misfits competed against leading top unit, Fnatic, finishing in fourth place, the LOL team won an amazing prize of $21K.

Another accomplishment for Alphari was while playing for the team, To Infinity and Beyond, winning the title of the PGL Legends of the Rift – Season 1, scooping a spectacular prize of $16K.
