Gamers.com.mt is celebrating five years in operation, thanks to your loyalty towards the gaming industry. The company has come a long way organizing esports events in Malta for games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, League of Legends, Call of Duty and FIFA. For their pride of what they have achieved so far, gamers.com.mt are proud to present the 5 years anniversary giveaway competition.
From a school software project came the idea of a gaming community website, providing gamers information into the world of esports. There was a time when LAN competitions were no longer held in Malta that left local players without the opportunity to follow their gaming passion seriously. With this intention in mind, Gamers.com.mt was founded and held its first tournament in Malta.
The first LAN party featured video games like Call of Duty, FIFA and League of Legends offering the largest prize pool in Malta at the time. The esports match turned out to be a huge success with great response from the local gaming community.

From then on, gamers.com.mt have never stopped looking back, moving forward organizing high-quality gaming tournaments, to expose the potential of local gaming talent. The company also looks into the international esports scene in order to sustain Maltese gaming through sponsors.
As the community showed a great interest in the gaming world, every year the attendance at such events increased. So far, 13 esports events have been organized and many more tournaments will be held in future.
