Zhang ‘Y’ Yiping is a 19-year-old Chinese top Dota 2 player, who is also known as Y’ innocence. He has a streak of intelligence and quick thinking, playing his best gameplays as the support for EHOME with dota 2 characters like Bounty Hunter, Io, and Oracle.
Other than playing Dota 2, lately Yiping has been playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in his free time. He also loves to spend time in the company of his teammates dining together, traveling so as to compete on the world stage and perhaps use some of their spare time sightseeing.
Where it all began:
Y’ started out his gaming career playing dota 2 with the squad, Speed Gaming in March 2014. Following TI4, Wings Gaming was created August 2014 by team captain Y' innocence. A year later the company reveals the new dota 2 roster that consists of Y’s former teammates, bLink and Faith_bian together with new players, Shadow and iceice.
EHOME is known to be one of the leading and oldest teams in Chinese Dota, having been established in 2004. The esports organization supports professional squads that compete in Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
EHOME created a dota 2 squad in 2007, building up a reputation that they kept over the years as one of the favorites in esports tournaments. EH’s current dota lineup consists of pro players like CTY, old chicken, Faith_bian, Hym, and Y'innocence, who will take on an aggressive gameplay and maintain unpredictability in every match.
EHOME Y'innocence has attended several qualifying matches like Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018, DreamLeague Season 9, ESL One Katowice 2018, StarLadder i-League Invitational and The Bucharest Major. Some of the latest major and minor esports tournaments that EH have recently participated include MDL Macau, Prodota Cup China, the Major League WESG 2017 China Finals.
For all esports players, TI is the most distinguished event of the year and it is a dream to be able to take part in such a tournament. The greatest achievement yet for Y’ innocence and his unit, Wings Gaming at the time was winning the title of The International 2016. WG was considered to be the best esports team of the year for 2016 for their hard work and training to succeed at the esports tournament. Yiping was the team captain, who drafted very particular heroes for his teammates that led Wings Gaming to win the TI6 title of a mind-blowing prize of $9.1 million, holding the highest recorded prize in esports at the time.
The second highest prize won by Y innocence while with Wings Gaming was at ESL One Manila 2016. On their way to the Grand Finals, WG beat top dota teams like Complexity and Fnatic. In the final match, the top Dota unit, beat Liquid with an unbeatable score of 3-0, winning the ESL One Manila title claiming a whopping $100K.
