Vincent ‘Biofrost’ Wang

Vincent ‘Biofrost’ Wang is a Chinese cyber athlete playing LOL support role for Team SoloMid. When he was three years old, his family immigrated to Canada from Beijing, China. Wang made a name for himself joining TSM, showing off his potential in stressful situations with good decision-making and intense clutch plays with Morgana or Thresh.

Where it all began:

Vincent began his pro career in 2015 with Team Frostbite where he attended his first esports tournament, NACS Spring 2015 Qualifiers. Wang began training and practising League of Legends, the mid lane position. Biofrost switched to play the support role for his team, a smart move that helped to win tournaments.

The Team:

Team Solomid is a North American esports team that was founded in 2011. The company came to be what it is today thanks to brothers Andy ‘Reginald’ Dinh and Dan ‘Dan Dinh’ Dinh and their community website Solomid.net. The esports association supports squads in different video games such as Hearthstone, CS:GO, Super Smash Bros and Vainglory.

TSM LOL

Through the successes and failures, Team Solomid have grown to be a top team in the esports scene. The current TSM LOL roster includes Hauntzer, Svenskeren, Bjergsen, Doublelift, Wild Turtle and Biofrost.

Competition Participation:

IEM Oakland

Biofrost and Team Solomid have participated in several competitions such as the IEM Oakland, 2016 NA LCS Summer Split and Playoffs, competing against top teams like Cloud 9 and Unicorns of Love.

Winnings:

The most recent win for TSM was at the 2017 North American LCS Srping Playoffs. Solomid beat Cloud 9 of the score 3:2 to win the first prize of $100K.

The highest win so far for Biofrost and Team Solomid was the 2016 World Championship. The competed in the group stages to finish the event ranking in the eleventh place, claiming a prize of $150K.
