Tyler ‘Skadoodle’ Latham

Tyler ‘Skadoodle’ Latham is a skilful cyber athlete, playing the awper in CS:GO. His amazing performances as a top sniper have made him popular in American eSports with his unpredictable explosive moves.

Before he started competing professionally, he spent some time helping his father build houses. Other than gaming and woodwork, Skadoodle is very musical, a talented beatboxer accompanied by his freestyler teammate, nOthing.

Where it all began:

Pokemon Game console

Tyler’s first console was the Gameboy, playing the video game, Pokemon. He started pursuing his professional career, after Latham’s mother had bought him a gaming mouse. From then on, Skadoodle practised Alliance of Valiant Arms, Battlefield 2, Call of Duty and League of Legends.

It was a dream come true for Skadoodle to play video games while earning money. He started his professional career playing for Team Curse in 2012. He made the switch to Counter-Strike, training and competing in the role of an awper.

The Team:

Cloud9 or alternatively known as C9 is an American esports association that supports squads in;

Jack Etienne, the C9 general manager went to the event, EMS One: Katowice 2014  to look out for new players to form a new CS:GO unit, acquiring the former coL gamers. The current Counter-Strike lineup consists of nOthing, Skadoodle, Stewie2k, Shroud and Autimatic.

Competition Participation:

The most recent CS:GO tournaments attended by Cloud 9 in the first three months of 2017 were IEM Masters XI World Championship and DreamHack Masters Las Vegas 2017.

So far C9 have won competitions against Renegades at the MLG Championship – Colombus Qualifier and have also beaten Team Liquid at the iBUYPOWER Invitational. Cloud 9 have defeated Solomid at the Americas Minor Championship and won over NRG at DreamHack Austin qualifiers.

Winnings:

The highest achievement for Skadoodle and C9 unit has been the ESL Pro League Season 4 Finals. The squad took the championship title, defeating SK Gaming, taking home a grand prize of $200K.
