StarSeries i-League Season 4

The StarSeries i-League is in its fourth edition organized by SLTV and ImbaTV. The premier CSGO event will take place from the 17th until 25th February, gathering the best sixteen esports teams from around the world. You will get to watch the Counter-Strike top players battle it out for their winning share from a whopping $300K prize pool.

Shots will be fired and bombs will explode at the Kiev Cybersport Arena, giving you the chance to follow online the esports tournament via the CSGO betting site. The winning CS team of the StarSeries i-League Season 4 will walk away with the first prize of $125K.

In the most recent esports tournament, StarLadder i-league Invitational II, CSGO fans were in for a few entertaining surprises. The semifinals saw VP beat Heroic while Renegades defeated HellRaisers. The i-League finals were won by RNG who beat the Counter-Strike top players of Virtus.Pro with a record of 2-0, taking home their highest prize of $75K.

Out of sixteen, the best ten esports teams that are invited include Astralis, Cloud9, Faze Clan, Fnatic, G2 Esports, Gambit, Mousesports, Natus Vincere, SK Gaming and Virtus.Pro.

Six top CS teams that took part in the regional qualifiers will also participate in the StarSeries i-League Season 4. The qualified esports units from Europe are Hellraisers and Heroic; the North American squads, Team Liquid and Renegades while representing Asia is Tyloo and MVP PK.

The tournament format of the StarSeries i-league Season 4 will be based on the Swiss System. Starting with the Group Stage, where each squad will compete against each other in five rounds with all the matches in a bo3. At this stage, the top 8 CS teams will proceed to the playoffs, while the bottom 8 will be eliminated from the competition.

The playoffs will start from the 23rd February, where the top 8 CSGO teams will face each other. Four units will be eliminated while other top CSGO squads will advance to Semifinals and the winning teams proceed to the finals.

Team Liquid

The North American qualifiers, Liquid beat NRG to acquire their spot in the StarSeries i-League Season 4. Stanislaw and jdm64 leave TL’s starting roster and are replaced by Counter-Strike top players, steel and NAF. The CSGO squad’s recent accomplishments were at ESL One: New York 2017, finishing in second place while at the Americas Minor – Boston 2018, Liquid took the Championship beating Misfits. Will the top CSGO players sweep and overcome their opponents on the battlefield?

Renegades

Another North American esports team, Renegades qualified for the main event of the StarSeries i-League Season 4. The latest news on the CSGO lineup is down to four players as NAF has left the squad to join Team Liquid. The top CS team recently won the Championship titles of the Asia Minor – Boston 2018 and the StarLadder i-League Invitational II.
