Simon ‘Twist’ Eliasson

Simon ‘Twist’ Eliasson is a 23-year-old professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player, making a name for himself in the esports scene. He has previously played the awper position and currently takes on the rifler role for his team, Godsent, with his explosive moves and a great sense of the game.

Being a pro player, Eliasson loves traveling and competing at esports tournaments. In his free time, while in America, he attended a basketball match between The Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks, he also visited the Empire State Building taking in the spectacular views. Another wild adventure off Simon’s bucket list was skydiving while in Barcelona.

Where it all began:

Counter strike source

He loved competition from the very first time he played Counter Strike Source in 2012 and aspired to become a top Counter-Strike player. He started his professional carer competing for Lemondogs, moving on to improve his fighting skills, he has played for top teams like SK Gaming, Flipsid3 Tactics, Copenhagen Wolves and Fnatic.

The Team:

Godsent is a Swedish esports company that was founded by the former Fnatic team captain, Markus ‘pronax’ Wallsten and an entrepreneur, Tomas Oropesa Martin. The gaming association supports only one professional team that competes in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Godsent created their CSGO team back in April 2016, starting out with CSGO players, Flusha, JW, and Krimz. Two years on, the CSGO roster consists of Twist, Disco_doplan, Freddieb, Hampus and Brollan who together will work to bring the team to new gaming heights.

Competition Participation:

Godsent Twist has recently participated in the Farmskins Championship for IEM Katowice, FACEIT Pro League, LOOT.BET Cup, Nations Elite, WESG 2017 Europe Finals, ECS Season 4, ESL Pro League Season 6 as well as the Europe Minor Championship – Boston 2018.

In Twist’s pro gaming career, he has competed against top CSGO teams such as AVANGAR, Valiance, AGO Gaming, Team Ukraine, Fnatic, Binary Dragons, HAVU Gaming and Pride Gaming. Having faced these CS squads, Simon has improved on his gaming skills and fighting strategies so as to counter whatever comes his way.

Winnings:

The greatest win for Twist was competing at Eleague Major Atlanta 2017 representing Fnatic. The CS team won over units like G2, North, Mousesports, NV in the group stages while in the Quarterfinals they beat Gambit Esports. Advancing to the Semifinals, the fanatic players were defeated by Astralis, to finish in third place, claiming a prize of $70K, acquiring a spot in the PGL Major Krakow 2017.

The second accomplishment for Twist was at Eleague Season 2, playing for Fnatic. Unfortunately, the CSGO team won over Optic in the first match but lost to Dignitas and faced Optic a second time losing the match. Although Fnatic did not go through the group stages finishing in 12th place, they won their second highest prize of $30K.
