Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok is a 21-year-old pro player who has been practicing Dota 2 for the past 5 years and currently competes for Team OG. He takes on the role of solo middle performing his best gameplays with heroes Luna, Faceless Void and Slark. In the past, Roman has played with a number of teams that include Team Empire, Digital Chaos and Thunderbirds.

Born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine, Roman began playing Dota 2 back in 2013. He enjoyed the game so much, Resolut1on made it his goal to be a better player. After a few years he found out, he lives close by to the CyberArena, which gave him the drive to become even more professional watching other gamers and improving his skills at the LAN Café. His competitive career started in March 2013 with the esports team iCCup, where his first ever match was the minor StarLadder ProSeries Season 5 and from there never stopped playing video games.

OG is a European esports company founded in 2015, originally named Monkey Business that comprised of the top players N0tail, Fly, Miracle, Cr1t and MoonMeander. The squad competed in Dota 2 making their debut in the Frankfurt Major winning over Team Secret in the Grand Final. Apart from Aizik and Sundstein, the current team signed on Resolut1on, s4 and JerAx who will continue to bring triumph added on to their total winnings so far $6 million.

Resolut1on together with his team OG have recently participated in the Major competitions like MDL Macau, AMD SAPPHIRE Dota PIT League as well as The International 2017. The latest qualifying matches that OG have taken part also include WESG 2017 Europe Finals, DreamLeague Season 8, Captains Draft 4.0 and StarLadder I-League Invitational Europe among many other esports tournaments.



The highest earnings that Resolution received in his dota career so far was at The International 2016 while competing for Digital Chaos at the time. The squad managed to reach the Grand Finals but were defeated by the top dota 2 champions, Wings Gaming. Despite the loss, OG took home the second prize of a whopping $3.4 million.

The second greatest win was The International 2017 while competing for Team Empire. Reaching 7th place, the squad outranked top teams like OG, Secret, EG, Digital Chaos, Cloud 9, Fnatic and Hellraisers. Team Empire lost to Dota 2 TI 7 Champions, Team Liquid with a score 0-2 at the premier event to win a prize of $617K.


His third accomplishment was at The Boston Major 2016  while competing for DC. At the premier event, Digital Chaos managed to go through the quarterfinals, advancing to the Semi-finals. DC competed against Ad Finem to whom they were defeated with a record of 0-2. Despite the loss, the the Dota team finished in 4th place to win a prize of $250K.
