Potter Christine Chi

Christine ‘Potter’ Chi is a 30-year-old American CS:GO player who is also captain of the Counter Logic Gaming Red female team. Having a strong background of Counter-Strike 1.6, helped her to analyse game tactics, and improve on her awping skills.

Where it all began:

On a bright Sunday morning after church, Christine who was thirteen at the time followed her brother to an amateur CS match which was held at Mug and Mouse LAN Café in Dallas. Potter watched how the teams competed against each other, intriguing her into the world of gaming, bringing out her competitive side.

Counter-Strike became a special game for Potter realising that gaming is her life. Christine has been competing in CS since 2003, becoming a top player and true leader for CLG Red.

Potter plays for Counter Logic Gaming, known for their oldest League of Legends squad that still competes at the highest of levels. CLG Red unit was established in July 2015 signing the former Ubinited CS:GO roster. A lineup made up of five pro players with Potter as captain, di^, bENITA, missharvey and Klaudia.

Competition Participation:

Chi has participated in many esports events some of which include the Copenhagen Games 2015 and 2016 finishing second place. The latest matches Potter competed in was the DreamHack Las Vegas 2017 qualifiers and at the minor tournament EsportsArena Santa Ana Showdown III.

Winnings:

Potter is a top earner in Counter-Strike female gaming scene and is also six times a world champion in the CS:GO tournaments, Electronic Sports World Cup, scooping a total of $66K in cash prizes.

Apart from the ESWC events, Potter has competed for CLG Red in the major Intel Challenge Katowice 2016, finishing a close second against WeRunThisPlace, they took a reward of $7K.
