Nicholas ‘nitr0’ Cannella is a professional CS: GO player that hails from Louisville, America. He takes on the role of entry fragger for Team Liquid and loves to help his team mates whenever possible. Thanks to his friends and his squad, he would never have accomplished so much. Rising up in ranks with every day that passes, Cannella improves individually and within the team with good training and motivational goals.
Where it all began:
Nicholas was about 9 or 10 years old when he started playing Counter Strike Source but his parents did not like the idea because they thought that nitr0 would grow up to be a gangster. There was nothing that could change his mind and continued playing the video games.
When Cannella was pretty good at CS 1.6 in 2011, he began training in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. He started his professional gaming career with Area 51 Gaming in 2014, working his way up the ladder. His skills developed in CS: GO with top units like iBUYPOWER, Torqued and Denial Esports and has proven his potential time and time again.
Team Liquid is a gaming organization that was launched in 2000, based in The Netherlands. The company started out with a Brood War team that eventually switched to StarCraft 2 in 2010. As esports was growing Liquid saw the need to support more teams that compete in video games like Hearthstone, Dota 2, Super Smash, League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Halo, FIFA and Street Fighter.
Team Liquid CS: GO was created in January 2015, acquiring the former players from Denial Esports. As years passed the roster changed to form the best possible lineup of five CS players consisting of nitr0, EliGE, jdm64, Stanislaw and Twistzz. Together the squad will take Team Liquid to new gaming levels with a mission to win esports tournaments.
