Matthew ‘super’ Delisi

Matthew ‘super’ DeLisi is a dedicated American cyber athlete who competes for Luminosity Gaming Evil. Delisi trains in Overwatch taking on the tank position for his team LG to help win the rounds. Matthew admires another player Verbo for his smart moves and game plays competing for Immortals.

Where it all began:

TF2 game

Matthew started his passion in gaming when he was 11-years-old playing Team Fortress 2. The video game did not have the proper esports financial support, so he came across the recent developed computer game, Overwatch. His very first esports team he joined was Bird Noises in 2016 and since then has never stopped gaming developing his skills to be a top player.

The Team:

Luminosity Gaming is an American gaming organisation that was founded by Steve ‘Buyaka’ Maida in February 2015. Due to the company expanding they support several esports that compete in CS:GO, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Call of Duty and Overwatch.

LG Evil OW4

Luminosity Gaming Evil acquired the former Hammer Esports team in March 2017 to form a new Overwatch team. The current roster who will take the squad to new heights include Jake, train, Voll, super, rob420, Avast.

Competition Participation:

The most recent Overwatch competition that Luminosity Gaming has participated was the CyberPowerPC 2017 Extreme Gaming Series Spring Invitational. LG Evil defeated Counter Logic Gaming with the record 3:1 to walk home with a prize of $2.5K.

Super was also player for Hammer Esports, taking part in the event, Haste Overwatch where the unit beat Tempo Storm with the score 3:0. Another competition attended by the same unit earlier in the year was Alienware Monthly Melee: January, where they beat luminosity Gaming Loyal.

Winnings:

The highest winnings won by super‘s professional career so far was with Luminosity Gaming Evil was at the Overwatch Carbon Series. They battled against another top team, Immortals that was tough to beat however they proudly claimed their reward of $5K.
