Georgi ‘WorldEdit’ Yaskin

Georgi ‘WorldEdit’ Yaskin is a 26-year-old professional player that hails from Moscow, Russia. He practices and competes in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, representing Flipsid3 Tactics. His position as an awper for his team brings out his accurate strong plays, in fact he is considered to be one of the best CS snipers in the CIS Region.

Outside of gaming, he loves to practice his aim on a real rifle at the shooting range to understand better about weapons. Georgi loves to spend his spare time hanging out with his friends, dining and drinking or maybe the occasional game of bowling.

Where it all began:

Georgi developed a love for computer games for he liked competition between him and other players. He started playing Counter-Strike Source in 2010, improving his skills to be the best player with the drive that one day he will be a pro player.

Coming from a strong background of CS Source, WorldEdit switched to play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The very first esports team that Yaskin joined was Xapso in 2012. He played with several other squads like dAT Team, Begrip Gaming, Courage Gaming and Hashtag, aquiring the knowledge and skills to be talented and play smart. He is so prepared and motivated that he has the capability to outsmart the opposing snipers.

The Team:

Flipsid3 Tactics is an American esports association that supports an African CS team, F3 academy lineup and the CIS Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster.

Flipsid3 Tactics created their CS: GO unit in March 2014 acquiring highgrade roster. Over the years, there were a few roster changes and currently CS lineup consists of pro players, b1ad3 as their in-game leader, WorldEdit, markeloff, waylander and seized.

Competition Participation:

WorldEdit and his current team Flipsid3 Tactics have participated in the qualifying matches of the ESEA Season 26: Europe, DreamHack Winter 2017, World Cyber Arena 2017 among many other esports tournaments.

Apart from playing for Flipsid3 he has also played for the national esports team Russia. In fact, WorldEdit has participated in the Russia qualifiers that lead to the WESG 2017 Europe Finals, where he competed against Fnatic.

WorldEdit has learnt and gained his gaming experience from competing against top esports teams like Space Soldiers, Penta Sports, Gambit Gaming, Immortals, Mousesports and Team Liquid.

Winnings:

The greatest winnings for WorldEdit and his team F3 was at the DreamHack Open Leipzig 2017. The Counter-Strike squad beat BIG with an unbeatable score 2-0, winning the Major Championship title and taking home their highest prize of $50K.

The second achievement for Yaskin was at the Eleague Season 1 while playing for Flipsid3. Unfortunately, the CS unit lost to top team Renegades in the Group Stages. Failing to advance, they finished in 11th place and claimed their reward of $40K.

Another of Yaskin’s remarkable accomplishments was at ESL One Cologne 2016. Flipsid3 reached the quarterfinals but lost to SK Gaming with a score 0-2. Despite the defeat, the players claimed a prize of $35K, finishing in sixth place to acquire a spot for Eleague Major Atlanta 2017.
