Frederik ‘freddieb’ Buö

Frederik ‘freddieb’ Buö is a 23-year-old talented pro gamer that hails from Sweden. He practices Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, taking on the rifler role for his esports team, Godsent. He made a name for himself playing for Epsilon and proved his gaming potential and shot calling in events such as Pro Gamer League 2016, the Nordic Championships and at WCA World Finals where he won a gold medal being the Champions in China.

Apart from playing CSGO, Buö likes to play poker or other computer games such as Battlefield, Golf you’re your friends, Subnautica and as for a warmup before competing, he plays Deathmatch on BrutalCS. In his spare time in the evenings, he likes to hang out with his family and friends, catching up on lost time, drinking wine or beer.

Where it all began:

Frederik was always fascinated with video games and had aspired to be a professional gamer. He started practicing Counter-Strike ever since he was young, which led him to more competitive games like Counter-Strike 1.6 and eventually took up training in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

He began his pro gaming career back in 2015 when he joined Team Aftermatch. Eventually played for Cringe Gods for a month, then on to Epsilon Esports and now currently representing Godsent.

The Team:

Godsent is an esports company that was founded by former Fnatic captain, Markus ‘pronax’ Wallsten and entrepreneur Tomas Oropesa Martin. The gaming organization supports only a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive squad.

Godsent have founded their CSGO lineup back in April 2016. The lineup consists of pro players, hampus as the team leader, twist, disco doplan, freddieb and Brollan who together will take their gaming levels to new heights, improving on their mistakes.

The most recent esports tournaments that Freddieb and his team Godsent have participated include the qualifying matches of ECS Season 5 – European Challenger Cup, Farmskins Championship, StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 4 Europe, LOOT.BET Cup #2 and WESG 2017 Sweden qualifier. Some of the major events that freddieb took part in with his unit Godsent was at Play2Live Cryptomasters, Nations Elite Esports Cup, WESG 2017 Europe Finals, ECS Season 4, ESL Pro League Season 6 and Europe Minor Championship Boston 2018 among many other matches.

Winnings:

The highest earnings achieved by freddieb was while representing Epsilon Esports at World Cyber Arena 2016 World Finals. Going through the Group Stages the CSGO team beat JYP Gaming, iGame.com, and Innova. Advancing to the Playoffs, the squad beat TyLoo, moving on to the Finals, where they won against VG.CyberZen with a remarkable score of 3-0, winning the WCG 2016 title, claiming a reward of $87K.

The second great accomplishment for Hampus was at the Gfinity Elite Series UK – Season 1 competing for Epsilon Esports. On their way through the Group Stages, the CSGO squad beat the likes of Excel Esports, Infused, Team Endpoint, Prophecy and the EnVyUs Academy. Going through to the finals, Epsilon beat Prophecy once again with an amazing score of 3-0, to claim their winning prize of $52K.
