DH Winter 2016 had taken place between 24 till 26 November that revealed the crowned winners, Gambit Esports. The Russian Counter-Strike team managed to defeat Renegades in the finals winning a remarkable record 2-0 to take the Championship title, taking home a prize of $50K.

Natus Vincere win DreamHack Winter 2017

DreamHack Winter 2017 saw Natus Vincere beat Mousesports with an unbeatable score of 2-0 in the Grand Final. The Ukrainians were quite a scary team to win six consecutive rounds. Every time Mousesports made an impressive move, Navi were quick to bury their opponents, winning them the match. The Most Valuable Player award of DH Winter went to Alexander ‘s1mple’ Kostyliev for his highest rating of 1.52, 52 opening kills and six clutches.

This year, DreamHack Winter 2018 will be another epic gaming festival. Aside from the CSGO tournament, there will also be matches like Quake Champions, Rainbow Six: Winter Siege, Hearthstone DH HCT Grand Prix and the BYOC tournaments. This year at DreamHack, there will also be music concerts featuring Altego, Costera and Darren Styles. Did you know that DreamHack has Got Talent? For all those gaming fans who have a unique talent, this is your chance to show off your best Fortnite dance moves perhaps or any other particular set of skills.

The DreamHack Open Winter 2018 tournament format will feature top Counter-Strike teams like Bravado Gaming, Complexity, Ence, G2 Esports, Heroic, Optic and X6tence Galaxy. The eight units will divide into two groups of four where the leading two units of both groups A and B will advance to the Semi-finals in a Single-Elimination bracket. The best two teams of the CSGO event will battle it out in the Grand Finals to hopefully win the first prize of $50K.
