DreamHack Tours 2017

DreamHack and Tours Evenements will be organising the next CS:GO DH tournament in Tours, France. The event has been held for consecutive third year which will take place on the 6th May till 8th May 2017 at the International des Congrès de Vinci à Tours.

DreamHack events have played an important part through the years, hosting tournamnets, in several different countries in Europe and America. Aside from esports competitions that attract over $8K esports fans, the festival features cosplay, lectures from game developers,  DreamExpo, music concerts, Internet and game culture.

At the DH Tours 2017, eight teams will be battling to be the top CS:GO team. Six of the best teams received a direct invitation these were EnvyUs, G2 esports Gambit Gaming, Heroic, Mousesports, Natus Vincere. While the other two professional CS squads went through the qualifying stages in order to participate at DreamHack Tours, the European team Hellraisers and North American Misfits.

Mousesports

Having attended DreamHack Masters in Las Vegas and the Eleague Major 2017, Mousesports went through to the quarterfinals but lost to Virtus.Pro. The latest change in the CS:GO team will see Ropz the new player replacing Niko who left for Faze Clan. Due to the roster change, will the team prepare in time for the coming tournament in France?

Misfits

Misfits have participated in the Dreamhack Tours qualfiers beating NRG 2:0 taking first in the qualifying stages. The squad have gone through some roster changes as Twistzz left for team liquid he is replaced by AmaNEk and the former EnVyUs player, Devoduvek joins Misfits as well as Peacemaker as their head coach.

An event like DreamHack Tours gives esports teams the opportunity to bring out their best performance and potential to qualify for Major CS:GO tournaments. DH Tours in 2016 was won by Team Dignitas winning the title claiming their first prize of $30K. Which team do you think will take the DreamHack Tours title from Dignitas?
