The CS Summit 2 saw Team Liquid defeat Cloud 9 in a best-of-5 Grand Final. The American white horses gained the advantage in three Counter-Strike maps, Train, Mirage and Overpass to win with a remarkable score of 3-2. Team Liquid took home the CS Summit trophy and the incredible cash prize of $63K.
The CS Summit 3 will be an exciting event for all fans following the matches, as well as for the esports players battling it out for the final prize. The tournament was to take place in October; however, the match was postponed in November.

The Counter-Strike tournament will kick off with the Playoffs in a double elimination bracket where all matches will be in a best-of-three. This competition will also give a second chance with Lower Bracket Rounds that will follow up to the Grand Finals where the two strongest teams will meet in the Grand Final in a best-of-five.

Team Kinguin’s recent win at the ESL Polish Championship Summer 2018, overcoming PACT 2-0. The past few months they have achieved excellent results placing second at the Hellcase Cup and Games Clash Masters.
Optic Gaming
The Optic roster consists of talented CS players who have made a name for themselves, showing the esports scene their fighting skills. The past few months, Optic Gaming have achieved excellent results in the StarSeries & i-League CSGO Season 6 placing third and second at the DreamHack Open Summer 2018. This unit usually goes through the qualifying stage, doing their best to reach closer to the finals.

The German Counter-Strike team Berlin International Gaming have achieved notable success at ESL One Cologne 2018 with a second-place finish. As BIG have improved on their gameplays, esports fans wonder if there will ever be another breaking record and perhaps be among the top CSGO teams in the world.

The North American squad NRG Esports had made a name for themselves when they won the Intel Extreme Masters Shanghai 2018.
