Adrian Ma is an American cyber athlete that hails from Houston, Texas. He trains in League of Legends, playing for Team Dignitas providing the support his squad needs in-game. He loves to show his gaming skills when playing Soraka, Janna and Lulu performing his best in esports tournaments.
When Adrian is not practicing LOL, you could find him playing Maple Story, one of his favourite video games. He also follows other professional teams and how they fare in matches but most especially looks up to a South Korean top League of Legends player, Mata who plays for KT Rolster.
Gaming aside, Adrian likes to spend his free time hanging out with his friends, loves shopping and dining out with his teammates. One of his celebrity crushes is the American singer, Taylor Swift. Since Adrian is from Houston, his heart went out to those affected by Hurricane Harvey in an Interview with ESPN Esports, hoping that everyone is safe and warm.
Where it all began:
Adrian began to show an interest in gaming while playing casually, League of Legends casually with his friends. He dedicated time to train more in the video game so much that he got addicted and from that moment he never stopped gaming. Following his dream to become a professional player, he enrolled at a University that offered esports scholarships.
He made a name for himself under another nickname ‘10q’ starting out with XDG Gaming back in 2014. Adrian improved his gaming skills at 2014 North American Challenger series, that opened an opportunity for him to fill the support role for Team Impulse. After a year, he moved on to play with Immortals, beating Team Liquid and Counter Logic Gaming in the 2016 NA LCS Spring and Summer playoffs.
The Team:
Team Dignitas is an American esports team with headquarters based in United Kingdom. The company was established in September 2003, starting out with two teams competing in Battlefield 1942. Due to the growth of esports, Dignitas now supports units in League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Heroes of the Storm, Counter-Strike female team and Smite.
Team Dignitas created their League of Legends squad in February 2011. Their acquisition of former Rock Solid players proved to be a success as they became one of the leading esports teams in North America. The current LOL roster consists of Ssumday, ShrimP, Keane, LOD, Altec, Big and Adrian taking their gaming skills to new heights with a goal to win championships.
Competition Participation and Winnings:
The highest earnings achieved in Adrian’s career was at Riot North America LCS 2017 Spring. While playing for Pheonix1, the LOL team came third, beating their opponents FlyQuest Esports with a record 3-2, winning a total prize of $30K.
The second greatest accomplishment for Adrian Ma was at the NA League of Legends Championship Series 2016 Spring. In this tournament, he was playing for Immortals who won against Team Liquid on a unbeatable score of 3-0 to claim their winning share of $15K. This event, Adrian has also achieved a personal best, winning the All-Pro Team award as Support player for IMT.
