Adil ‘ScreaM’ Benrlitom is a 22 year old Belgian CS:GO gamer, who has wowed esports fans at several tournaments with his rifler skills for his team, NV. An alternate alias Scream had was ‘They talk about my one taps’ and his friend suggested that he use the nickname ‘ScreaM’ which he thought was cool and he stuck with it.
Adil’s first job was repairing computers which he liked a lot which was something linked to computer gaming. Benrlitom used to watch his favourite anime, Attack on Titan for its intriguing plot and amazing music.
Where it all began:
When Adil was around ten years old, he began playing Counter-Strike Source casually. He took an interest following some professional tournaments that were held at the time that gave him the motivation to play at a high level with big esports units. He joined his very first squad, hf.MOTHER playing professionally in CS: Source in 2010, moving on to units like Nameless, Team LDLC and Anexis until 2012.
He strived to develop his fighting abilities with the new video game, CS:GO with Epilson Esports in September 2012. Since then Adil has had a reputation for the best headshot ratio in any game of CS and in 2016 has ranked in 9th place voted by HLTV.org.
EnVyUs is an professional gaming team that was established in 2007 by Mike ‘Hastro’ Rufail. The company is famous for their Call of Duty team. Due to the success of the squad, the company had the finance to grow and support units that play CS:GO, Gears of War, Halo, League of Legends, Overwatch and Starcraft.
EnVyUs CS:GO was created in February 2015, acquiring the former players of the team, LDLC.com. Over the years changes in the lineup have taken place with the most recent maLek joining as coach, devoduvek leaves NV for Misfits. The present CS squad consists of Happy, Scream, Sixer, Rpk and xms.
ScreaM has recently participated in CS:GO matches such as ESL Pro League Season 5 reaching the finals, the EU qualifiers of DreamHack Tours 2017 and cs_summit. Other Counter-Strike events that ScreaM has taken part playing for G2 Esports included Eleague Major 2017, Intel Extreme Masters XI – Oakland and many other esports matches.
Benrlitom’s favourite match that he competed in was the ESL One Cologne 2015 while playing for Kinguin. It was a memorable tournament although they lost to TSM 0:2, ranking 5 – 8th place, claiming a prize of $10K.
ScreaM has competed against some of the world’s best teams like Team Liquid, Tricked Esports, Optic Gaming, Hellraisers, North, Fnatic, Immortals and SK Gaming. This helped him to develop and improve his skills, stepping up his game so that next time his team will win CS:GO tournaments.
A great accomplishment was at the premier match, ECS Season 1, ScreaM was a part of G2 esports at the time. The squad finished in first place, taking revenge on Luminosity Gaming they won with the record 2:0, claiming their big prize of $250K.
His second highest earnings were at the ESL Pro League Season 3 – Finals while ScreaM was playing for G2 Esports. The squad lost to Luminosity Gaming with the score 2:3 finishing second in the CS:GO tournament to proudly claim their reward of $90K.
