Ad Finem is a Greek esports company that was founded in 2015. The organisation currently has two teams, one specialising in Dota 2 for what they are most famous for and another in Hearthstone. In the coming future, AD Finem Company has the intention to include a few more units in League of legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Overwatch.
Their latest big event they attended was The Boston Major, coming to a close second place winning $500K. Ad Finem have participated in several tournaments such as DreamLeague Season 5 and 6, The Summit 5, Northern Arena BEAT Invitational and WCA2016 EU Main Qualifier.
The greek players thought that esports fans will like the connection of a Spartan warrior and Ad Finem. So at The Boston Major, the teammates were called ‘Spartans’ as in the film ‘300’ and with every smart move, the fans cheer on ‘Awoo! Awoo! Awoo!’

Verros ‘Maybe Next Time’ Apostolos is a Greek Dota 2 support for Ad Finem team. His role within the squad has helped his team with his favourite hero Bounty Hunter, Oracle and Bane. Verros started his gaming career with Elysium Gaming and has also competed for Golden Boys before he joined Ad Finem Dota 2.
Kharis ‘Skylark’ Zafeiriou is a committed Greek esports gamer who is currently playing the offlaner position for Ad Finem. Skylark is famous for his signature heroes that he plays such as the Sand King, Dark seer and Batrider. Kharis started competed from July 2014 with teams like Elysium Gaming, London Conspiracy and Golden boys before finally joining Ad Finem.
Dimitris ‘ThuG’ Plivouris is a Dota 2 professional who forms part of Ad Finem team. His responsibility within the squad is the solo middle role with his signature champions Queen of pain, Viper and Death Prophet. His previous performances as a temporary player were quite notable, in fact he managed to overcome one of the world known teams, Evil Genuises.
Omar ‘Madara’ Dabasas is a dedicated Dota 2 pro gamer competing for Ad Finem. He plays the carry role with signature heroes like Juggernaut, Sven and Slark. His interest in esports started with Dota 1 when he was just eleven years old with the mentality to become the best player. Moving on to Dota 2 he competed for his first squad in May 2014 with XtremeXPC International and for several other squads. In December 2015, Madara formed part of the Ad Finem team showing off his one of a kind abilities.
Giorgios ‘SsaSpartan’ Giannakopoulos is a Greek cyber athlete from Sparta, who specialises in Dota 2. His experience in the game for the last ten years has made him the highly respected captain. SsaSpartan’s role in team Ad Finem is support position helping wherever possible to achieve the goal to win the game. Giorgios has previously worked at an Internet Café following his passion of playing video games and practicing Dota 2.
