Vici Gaming or known as VG is an esports organisation was established in October 2012 based in Shanghai, China. Fengdidi who had played for PanDarea Gaming chose skilled players to compete in a new Dota team under VG. The success of the company had expanded to support several teams in CS: GO, Dota 2, FIFA, League of Legends, Starcraft and Warcraft.
The name of the association, ViCi Gaming was derived from the latin words ‘Veni, Vidi, Vici’ which means “I come, I see, I conquer’, famous words spoken by Ceasar, the Roman Emperor.
Vici Gaming CS:GO team have participated in qualifying matches of the Starladder i-League Season 3 and Intel Extreme Masters XII Sydney as Chinese qualifiers. VG’s first prestigious tournament in 2017 was the IEM XII Sydney. Although they tried their best, Vici were beaten by Renegades to finish eighth place, winning their first prize of $3K.
