Team Empire is a Russian professional esports company that was established in 2004 with the headquarters based in Moscow. The association is one of the best known gaming clubs that supports teams competing in Starcraft II, Dota 2, HearthStone, Call of Duty, Heroes of the Storm and League of Legends.
The squad was created in December 2011, when Empire Heroes of Newerth switched to Dota 2. The latest roster change saw former teammate KingR leave the Empire squad. The latest addition to the line-up includes fn, Chappie, Rodjer, Ghostik and Miposhka as captain.
The Empire Dota unit has most recently participated in qualifying matches of Summit 7, Galaxy Battles: Europe and Lootbet Invitational, the major competition – Russian Esports Cup 2017. The greatest win so far was at the TI 5, despite losing to MVP to finish in 9 -12th place, they took home an overwhelming prize of $221,155.
The Team
Vladimir ‘Chappie’ Kuzmenko is a 20 year old Russian pro Dota player competing for Team Empire. He started his gaming career with Comanche in July 2016, acquiring the skills to become the player he is today. His responsibility towards his Empire team is playing the carry position, showing off his gaming talents with his signature heroes, Meepo, Anti-Mage and Lone Druid.
Rostislav ‘fn’ Lozovoy from Ukraine began his competitive gaming profession with Insane Gaming in 2014, practicing and training in Dota 2. Making a name for himself into the esports scene, fn reached success and will continue to do so with his current squad, Empire, by playing the carry or solo middle positions.
Yaroslav ‘Miposhka’ Naidenov is a Russian cyber athlete who competes and takes on the role of the in-game leader of Team Empire. The 19 year old shows off his gaming abilities in the supportive role he provides his teammates with his favourite champions, Earth Spirit, Bounty Hunter and Enchantress.
Andrey ‘Ghostik’ Kadyk is a pro gamer from Ukraine playing the offlaner position for Team Empire, with his signature Dota champions, Broodmother, Legion Commnader and Batrider. He started competitive gaming joining the team aSpera back in 2015 making a name for himself by surprising and entertaining the audience with his smart complex moves.
Vladimir ‘Rodjer’ Nikogosyan is a professional player providing support with his favourite heroes, Chen, Shadow Demon and Earth Spirit. The 23 year old is quite the experienced gamer, having the thorough gaming knowledge with a wide hero pool, giving his team the best strategies to lead his team win matches.
