Scott ‘Custa’ Kennedy

Scott ‘Custa’ Kennedy is a professional cyber sthlete, who was born and raised in Adelaide, Australia. As the esports scene is not so big in his home country, he moved to Canada to continue following his dream to play Overwatch.

Custa forms part of the Fnatic Overwatch roster, taking on the position of support, helping his teammates in game. In tournaments and streams you can find him playing signature champion is Ana. Custa’s favourite hero is Zenyatta for his fun support abilities and inflicting damage on enemies.

Where it all began:

Scott was around seven when he started playing N64 video games like Super Mario. He was always trying to be the best player by beating his brothers. When his family got a computer, Kennedy played CS 1.6 and World of Warcraft. Add to this Team Fortress 2 was his all-time favourite in fact he played for Australia’s third best team in TF2.

The Team:

Fnatic is a leading professional gaming company with its head office in the UK. The organisation supports several teams that play different video games such as CS:GO, Dota, LOL, Heroes of the Storm as well as Overwatch.

Becoming a top player, Custo made a name for himself by joining the Fnatic OW roster in August 2016, helping his team reach top rankings.

Competition Participation:

In 2016, Scott has participated in four weekly tournaments, GosuGamers Overwatch competing for squads, Code 7 and Nubris where they finished first and second place respectively.

Competing for Fnatic, his very first match was the 2016 ESL Overwatch Atlantic Showdown – Gamescom. They lost to Reunited at the premier match, placing fourth to win $12K.

Winnings:

The largest prize won with Custa’s help for Fnatic was the Overwatch Open where they lost to EnVyUs. Reaching third place the unit won a prize of $24K.
