Joshua ‘Dardoch’ Hartnett is a passionate and driven pro gamer playing for Team Liquid League of Legends roster. Making a name for himself, Dardoch takes on the role of Jungler, performing his aggressive play-style with heroes like Rek’Sai and Elise to lead his team to victory.
Where it all began:
His dedication into the world of gaming started in 2014, training and practicing in League of Legends for the squad, Noble Truth. Joshua is a born leader, always two steps ahead which makes him bold in his decisions. He is the most positive of the group, motivating his team mates that they can fight to win the LOL tournaments.
The Team:
Dardoch is a part of Team Liquid, a European esports organization that was established in 2000 based in The Netherlands, where it started off with a lineup in Starcraft 2 in 2010. Due to success in tournaments, the gaming company supports teams that specialize in Hearthstone, Dota 2, SuperSmash Bros, CS: GO, Overwatch, Street Fighter, League of Legends and Halo.
The Liquid LOL roster was formed in January 2015 and since then have achieved results to place them among top esports teams. The LOL lineup consists of Piglet, Matt, Lourlo, GoldenGlue and Reignover.
Competitions and Winnings:
As a professional player, Dardoch has taken part in the 2016 NA LCS Spring and Summer Seasons with Team Liquid. His first competition with them was the Spring NA LCS League, where Dardoch showed off his gaming potential that led him to be the MVP of the week.
Hartnett’s great achievement was placing third at the Intel Extreme Masters XI Gyeonggi. IMT lost to Kongdoo Monsters with the score 1:2, winning a prize of $10K thanks to Dardoch’s LOL strategy of two steps ahead.
