Biography

Ivan ‘MinD_ContRoL’ Ivanov is a pro gamer from Bulgaria, playing for Team Liquid. His offlaner position for his squad has seen him play his best with Dota 2 heroes like Dark Seer, Nature’s Prophet and Beastmaster. Although there is a lot of pressure in tournaments, MinD_ContRoL is all smiles before and after esports events.

Mind Control Chess

Ivan is quite an open minded person, smart and quite competitive. Aside from Dota 2, he likes to play table tennis and chess with his friends and if he happens to be losing he tries his best to catch up. He likes snickers, a chocolate bar filled with nougat, peanuts and caramel and his favourite beer is brewdog that for him they are the best beers in the world.

Where it all began:

Ivan was exposed to computer games since he was five years old from the moment his grandmother had bought him his first computer. In 2012, he began playing Dota 2, he was so happy that he could play all day and all night but his parents did not support him, seeing it was a waste of time in general.

Defense of the Ancients 2

He kept up his practice in Dota 2, motivating himself to play ten pubs if he loses, he tries again to win it. In 2014, MinD_ContRoL joined his very first esports team, Vast Cast to play professional Dota 2. After that he competed for Aftershock Gaming, Basically Unknown, hehe united and 5jungz who eventually were signed with his current unit.
