Connor ‘Avast’ Prince

Connor ‘Avast’ Prince is an American cyber athlete forming part of the squad, Luminosity Gaming Evil, competing in Overwatch. Prince takes on the position of support helping his teammates heal their champions and protect his team to win the OW competitions.

Where it all began:

Connor had a passion for gaming, starting out with his favourite video game, Team Fortress 2, he competed in the ESEA Invitational level reaching the demoman class. He has quite a strong background of first person shooter games like Call of Duty, Counter-Strike.

He started playing competitively in OW in 2016 when he joined I’m your Huckleberry.  Acquiring more game knowledge, skills and smart gameplays he also joined units such as bird noises, Hammer Esports which led him to compete for Luminosity Gaming Evil.

The Team:

Luminosity Gaming is a North American esports organisation that was established in February 2015, founded by Steve ‘Buyaka’ Maida. Due to the success of the esports company, LG support teams competing in CS:GO, Smite, League of Legends, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft and Call of Duty.

LG Evil OW

Luminosity Gaming Evil is an Overwatch team that has been created in March 2017. LG acquired the Hammer Esports Roster that consists of six professional players Jake as captain, train, Voll, super, rob420 and Avast.

Competition Participation and Winnings:

Luminosity Gaming have participated in several Overwatch matches such as the most recent CyberPower PC 2017 Spring Invitational, the Alienware Monthly Melee: March. Since Avast joined his current team, he has competed against top Overwatch teams like CLG, Immortals and Selfless Gaming helping the team step up their OW strategies to win esports events.

The greatest achievements so far for Avast and his team, LG Evil was competing at the Major tournament, The Overwatch Carbon Series. They lost to Immortals with the score 1:3 finishing in second place, to win $5K.
