Alexandre ‘xms’ Forte

Alexandre ‘xms’ Forte is a 20 year old French cyber athlete who practices and trains in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. He plays the entry fragger position for his team, EnVyUs, helping to lead his squad to victory in esports tournaments by opening up bombsites in-game.

A lot has happened since he started competitive gaming and quite unbelievable that just a few years back xms was a fan of many professional players. His potential has come a long way and he is happy to be a part of one of the biggest gaming companies.

Where it all began:

CS Source esports game

When Alexandre was about 7 or 8 years old, he used to watch his brother play Counter-Strike Source. He tried playing CS on FFA Servers, not knowing the goal of the game. In the meantime, he tried playing other trending video games at the time but went back to Counter-Strike 1.6 when he was 11, installing the game on his personal computer.

The Team:

EnVyUs is an American gaming company that was founded in 2007 by Mike ‘Hastro’ Rufail. The squad is mostly known as The Boys in Blue and are famous for their Call of Duty successes. Thanks to their wins, the association presently supports team in Gears of War, CS:GO, Halo, League of Legends, Overwatch and Starcraft.

EnVyUs CS:GO was established in February 2015, after acquiring the former LDLC players. The latest roster changes included the new coach, MaLek and duvoduvek left NV to join Misfits. The present NV CSGO roster conists of Happy, SIXER, Rpk, xms and the latest signing of ScreaM.

Competition Participation:

Xms and his NV have participated in several esports competitions such as the European qualifiers, ESL One: Cologne and Minor Championship Krakow 2017, DreamHack Tours 2017 and cs_summit. By playing against some of the world best CS:GO teams such as Tricked Esport, G2, Optic Gaming and Hellraisers, helped him improve his game plays to reach top level.

ESEA season 23

While competing for LDLC, xms attended ESEA Season 23, Esports World Convention 2016, esportsArcadeTV Cup and ESWC 2016 – Western Europe qualifier. His team faced off Penta Sports, Rogue, Flipsid3 Tactics and Kinguin.

Winnings:

The greatest win for xms as a player was while competing for EnVyUs at the most recent ESL Pro League Season 5 – Finals. NV lost to Team Liquid with a score of 1:2 to finish in the sixth place, claiming their prize of an amazing $45K.

Another big accomplishment for xms was while competing under LDLC, playing at the Esports World Convention 2016. The pro team reached second place losing to Alternate aTTaX with the score 1:2 to proudly claim their prize reward of $15K.
